Important Notes

  • The amount paid online is only the booking fee (50%) of the total course fee.

  • The remaining 50% must be paid directly at the college during course registration.

  • An acknowledgement email will be sent after successful payment.

  • Please carry a printout or digital copy of the acknowledgement email to the college.

  • Admission is confirmed only after the full fee is paid at the campus.

  • Officers, Cadets and Ratings having 12 months sea service (or) 6 months sea service with approved Pre-sea Training. (Proof of sea service required).
  • Basic course Fire Prevention & Fire Fighting (FPFF) must be completed
  • Medical fitness certificate in ILO format.
  • Non-Indian Participants need to hold a Student Visa to India to undergo the course.

  • We recommend candidates bring their own Boiler suit and Safety Shoes. Used Laundry cleaned Boiler suits sizes S to XXL, in limited numbers, are available for rent @ Rs. 100/pc, and used Safety Shoes sizes from 5-11 are available for rent at Rs. 100/pair. The payment for the same is to be done online through HIMT Student Portal.

As per DGS Order 20 of 2020, Successful Completion of E-Learning Modules through the DGS website is mandatory to get Digital Certificate for all DG approved Courses. However, E learning can be completed prior or after the Physical classes

  • As per DGS Order 11 of 2022, the exit exam has to be given only in the MTI.
     In case the candidate fails in the exit exam, they can give the exit exam on the following working day at the MTI.
  • Kindly make the travel arrangements accordingly.
  • Dress Code : Collarless T. Shirts, Shorts, Sandals, Bathroom slippers are not permitted for Physical Classes
  • G. Shipping mandates a minimum batch strength of 25%. In the event that the number of participants in the course reduces due to withdrawals, causing the batch strength to fall below 25% of the batch capacity, the course would be postponed without any additional charges.
